Data Complexity

Challenge: Integrating vast, inconsistent datasets (budget, schedule, resources) from three separate business units and legacy systems.

My Approach: Focused the IA on creating a logical data hierarchy (Portfolio $\rightarrow$ Division $\rightarrow$ Project) and worked closely with data engineers to define the most critical, common KPIs for display.

User Divergence

Challenge: Designing a system that simultaneously meets the high-level needs of the Executive and the detailed, functional needs of the Project Manager.

My Approach: Created two distinct primary views—a visually summarized Executive Dashboard and a detailed, editable Project Manager Module—connected via an intuitive drill-down mechanism.

Data Visualization

Challenge: Communicating complex financial and schedule metrics (e.g., Earned Value Management, Schedule Variance) in a simple, digestible format.

My Approach: Utilized best-practice data viz: Gauge charts for budget consumption, traffic-light indicators for status, and simplified Gantt or Timeline components for schedule tracking.
